Julia Sorouri started as a student assistant at the Cologne Center for eHumanities in 2017. She first developed various infographics for a publication as part of the Modelling DH project funded by the VW Foundation under Prof. Dr. Patrick Sahle. In addition, she was involved in various design tasks across different projects, often in collaboration with the Data Center for the Humanities (DCH) and the Institute for Digital Humanities (IDH).

Julia Sorouri has been employed as a research assistant since completing her Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Design at the Cologne International School of Design in 2019. Her work covers a wide range of design disciplines, from graphic design to illustration, with a recent focus on UI/UX (User Interface/User Experience).

Since the winter semester 2021/22, she has also been studying for a Master’s degree in Public Interest Design at the University of Wuppertal.
